Dr. Roy has been practicing Nephrology with Central Valley Nephrology (CVN) Medical Associates since 1998. He is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He is on the Executive Board of Mercy Medical Center and is currently the Medical Director of Satellite Healthcare Dialysis Center, Merced. Dr. Roy is also an active board member of the Merced-Mariposa County Medical Society. Dr. Roy is affiliated with both Mercy Medical Center and Los Banos Sutter Memorial hospitals.

Dr. Roy was educated in the United Kingdom and earned his Medical M.D. at the American University of Caribbean Montserrat in the British West Indies. He completed his graduate medical education at the University of California, Los Angeles and St. Louis University.

As an active member of the Merced community, Dr. Roy travels throughout Merced and Mariposa Counties to provide nephrology services to underserved areas through rural clinic work.

  • Doctor Daniel Ikemiyashiro, M.D. is board certified and has been practicing Nephrology and Internal Medicine in Merced since 1995. He also served as the Medical Director at the Center for Diabetes, Mercy Medical Center for eight years. He is currently the Medical Director at the Da Vita, Los Banos Dialysis Center.

    Dr. Ikemiyashiro graduated from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Lima, Peru as an undergraduate student and then earned his M.D. from the Universidada Peruana Cayetano Heredia Medical School in Lima, Peru. After that he held an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan followed by a residency from 1988-90. He then began a fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at Henry Ford Hospital from 1990-92, a clinical research fellowship in Nephrology from 1992-93 and a clinical Nephrology in renal transplantation from 1993-95.

    He has published numerous research publications on different subjects including metabolic acidoses, long term results of corticosterioid withdrawal, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis and more. Dr. Ikemiyashiro is known for his strong desire to care for his patients and his good nature.
